As you may be aware, there is currently a global shortage of siloxane that is forcing a limited supply and a rise in silicone prices globally. The latest information supports a potential multi-year or long-term issue affecting the global supply of silicone raw materials. Unfortunately, we are now seeing an impact to our ability to provide you with silicone tubing in a timely manner and at our current prices.

Therefore, it is necessary for us to increase our pricing for silicone tubing, effective on August 23, 2018.

This will affect all future orders and pending orders that have not shipped. We may also need to extend further price increases at future dates based on the market conditions. We expect an impact to standard lead times and will communicate as best we can with future orders on expected lead times; our current estimates have extended to 18 weeks. We remain committed to keeping your operation in process and will work with you to ensure you have the inventory you need?this may require a prioritized allocation.
